Sanyo JCX 2400K (Fuses)?

All,

I just bought a preowned Sanyo JCX 2400K and while setting it up, I heard some static.... I believe the left speakers worked well for a few minutes then it appeared to have blown a speaker fuse. (all lefts will not work and I looked at fuses and it appears blown).

I looked in the manual and found the model number for the fuses but can't seem to find them online?

Questions:

1.) What would cause the speaker fuse to blow so quickly
2.) Can anyone tell me how to find the replacement fuses?

Regards, Bobby

I believe those Sanyo receivers use “STK” chip amplifiers. There’s a good chance one of those is bad. You can find a svc manual on hifiengine and it should have the voltages that should be present on each leg of the chip.

Thanks. I ordered some fuses but my gut tells me I may hear popping then more fuses blowing.... I will look into those chips... I am not a pro AV guy, so learning on the fly here. (I am thinking the guy who sold it to me was aware)
