Sanyo receiver?

I found a Sanyo receiver that they're asking $30 for. Its a Sanyo 2033. Is it worth getting for that price? It has nice looks but i also need good sounds. Any input will be appreciated.

Sanyo is one of the largest general electric company groups, which is sure playing second fiddle to others such as toshiba , Hitachi, and Matsushita nowadays. It is said Sanyo is in financial crisis as consumers stay away from their products for home use. HOWEVER, among some audio -philes in Japan, they are said to have been making decent audio devices. In fact, I haven't had anyting from Sanyo other than an inexpensive TT, still the receiver is worth while to bet $30 on.

Couple of suggestions:

1) This is a receiver, not a tuner... this forum is dedicated primarily to the discussion of tuners. If you have questions about the particular model that don't involve its value, you should probably post them in the Vintage Solid State forum.

2) Questions about value of equipment should be posted to the Dollars and Sense forum, and aren't permitted elsewhere.
