Sanyo ST-150 bookshelf speakers

I purchased a clean pair of Sanyo ST-150 speakers at a yard sale for $2. I can't find much information on these speakers, but I'm suspecting they're probably from the 1980's and possibly came bundled with a stereo system. Compared to my Polk Monitor 40 Series II bookshelf speakers, these Sanyo speakers sound a little lifeless, lacking some bass and treble; nothing special, but fine for two dollars.

Does anyone know anything about these speakers?

They may have been part of a rack system. The attached small gauge wire coming from a hole in the back would suggest they are rack or all in one type system speakers. If that is the case you might not find much info on them.
