Hi all

Just bought this old TT.
Have not owned any sort of TT before, so pretty new to the Game.

I am thinking of making this a project TT.

That being said, can anyone give a list of compatable cartridges / needles that I can use with this TT.

Or can I just use anyone ?

It says to use ST-28D Stylus...

I had one on those, belt drive with internal spring suspension, not high end, I wouldn't put an expensive cart on it - the AT95e would be a good choice, inexpensive but highly regarded

I had a TP 626 and, though it wasn't the best turntable I ever had, it was one of the prettiest and it does sound quite descent. There's no guarantee that the cartridge that's on there now is original. It might actually be a pretty good one and a new stylus is all that's required. A picture of the cartridge would help.
