Sanyo TP-825D...any owners out there?

I have this Sanyo TT. Not many of them are out there and I have a Grado Gold cart that sounds really good on this table.

This TT seems well-built, well engineered. Overall, sounds very good with the Grado. My only reference is my entry level Numark TT that sounded good, but the Sanyo sounds incredibly better.

Ebay link for photos of one sold recently-

My Question to other Sanyo 825D owners .... Is this table good enough quality for a Dynavector 10x5 cartridge? I have been thinking of stepping up to that cartridge, but want to make sure this Sanyo TT is a good fit.

any thoughts?

There are at least three TP-825D owners on the board, myself included. Unfortunately I don't feel that I have enough turntable experience to comment on your proposal with the exception of it feels good do it. :smoke:

I do not own this particular Sanyo turn table.

I have good experiences with other CEC made turn tables though.

There are several HOMC cartridge that you may want to look into for your turn table. :music:
