On the way to work, right around the corner from home and just a few minutes ahead of the trash truck, I drive by a box sitting next a large pile of garbage that clearly says 'Sansui' on it.....and I screech to a halt. A quick peak inside, and it really is an AU-666 integrated amp, in the box with original packaging! In the trunk it goes. It was sitting on top of another box - a quick peak and it's a Yamaha CT-410 tuner, in it's original box too! Cool! 5 minute later it starts to pour rain. So, they were saved from getting soaked and then brutally crushed - I feel pretty good! I even have a CA-400 amp to go with the tuner. (Might get pic's up later tonight.) So this makes 8 integrated amps floating around the house...and the 4th one under 40 wpc. (I'm betting they work fine and just need cleaning.)

I just got a chance to take them out of the boxes to see if there were any papers with them - none. I now see that the amp has a SSN enscribed on the top edge of the front face, while the tuner has it enscribed on the front. Bummer...and they're both cosmetically perfect in every other respect :tears:
I'll be able to see if they work tonight.

Congratesand they both work just fine! 
No scratchy controls at all - DC offset below 50mV on each channel so I hooked up speakers and listened a bit. So far I'd say the amp is really nice, possibly the best of the sub-40wpc amps I have. Pretty heavy too.
I'm not too bothered by the ssn's...especially on the Sansui, as it's on the top edge and not visible from the front.

oh well i was just hoping there was so i could get you to photocopy it for me as i want one for my au666.i'm glad you got it up and running and like the sound.i feel sorry for mine as the only duty it serves is as a preamp for my ba3000.oh btw ,does the au666 you have got a woodcase?heres a picture of mine after i had bolly redo the lettering .
