I have an Audigy too, was hoping to keep my old 44.1khz soundcard in my machine for ripped cd playback. Sadly some of my audio editing software didn't like the plan. I too am stuck with annoying 48khz resampling.

The reason I got the card though was to do 24/96 needledrops, and it does that very well.

Which Audigy do you have? Creative is settling a class action lawsuit concerning false adverstising of 24/96 aspect of some Audigy cards. It seems that the 24 bit was false and that some of the Audigy cards only can record at 16 bit.

Wasn't that the Audigy 1? I have the Audigy 2.

It includes the Audigy ES, Audigy Platinum, Audigy Platinum eX, Audigy Gamer, Audigy MP3+ and also the original Extigy external USB sound module. You may be safe.

I would be F***ing pissed off if it affected mine considering the amount of time i've spent using it to backing up stuff. I've checked an mine is the Audigy 2 ZS. Hope they get taken to the cleaners for it.
