Saw Preview for Sorcerer's Apprentice this morn....

Hmmmm, I am wondering. It seems Nic Cage is blending all of his past characters from the Rock, Con Air, National Treasure, Leaving Las Vegas, City of Angels, and Face Off into one very pumped up Sorcerer. What is it with these new movies being so pumped up and everybody acting like they just got an adrenalin shot in the A$$? The kid who is his apprentice seemes very familiar, like I have seen him before in another movie with a famous face where he plays a sidekick, :scratch2:

Based on what I saw in the preview, I would like to go see it, to see if Nic Cage has a fancy rebuttal to his apprentice's silly questions.

Just saw it

First off let me say I'm not a fan of Bruckheimmer and I did not care for National Treasure 2 but I did like Cage in Bangok Dangerous and I thought he really got into his role here esp. playing off of Al Molina as his nemisis and arc villian. I really liked this movie,a great Summer flick to get lost in. Will it win an oscar? No but it really helped me leave my troubles at the door and escape. This is one of the best casted movies I've seen in a while and you will have alot of fun with it. I also dug how they went back to the time of Merlin and explained what the movie was about. Outstanding fantasy movie with just enough special effects and action.
