Just joined and wanted to say hello. I don't usually join I usually just browse these things.
I have been buying selling trading and collecting this stuff since I was 15 or so. I am now 55.
I like JBL, Polk audio (no post Matthew Polk designs), Pioneer, Yamaha I like others but those are some of my favorites. I have a pair of Tannoy D700s that I am soon to part with and I am in the process of having a Pioneer SX 1010 repaired. I have a huge Home theater set up consisting of all JBL and and one Velodyne SPL 12R sub.I have a Yamaha RX-V2400 powering that.
I think I am about ready to let some of this go as I also sent a Yamaha m-60 amp and the companion preamp to be looked at.
Anyone else out there my age and thinning out your collection?
I am posting a few photos of the speakers I have had over the years also had a pair of the Polk Audio SRS 1.2 TL speakers that I would like to find again.
It never ends.....

I have recently sold off some collector gear that just wasn't being used much. I thought putting it in the hands of someone who really prizes it would be a good thing.

Know any good sites online to sell the d700s I have by chance?
Seems they are rare and not many people are interested in buying them I have no idea why.

I have let a few things go lately. Sure brings joy. No argument on that. I get a good bit of excitement when I go pick things up. Furthest I have went was from Savannah Ga. to Gainesville Fl. Found some Polk Audio SRS 1.2TL speakers. A guy sold them on eBay for 1200.00 and the person did not get them. He was moving to Sweden and had to sell. I got them for 500.00. One tweeter was bad. I have since sold them, but now I have to find another pair I want them for my living room. Probably after I sell the Tannoy D700 pair.
