Schiit Vali 1 vs Asgard 2?

I posted a bit earlier asking about headphone amps to be used with a set of Sennhieser HD600 phones that I've got. I ended up ordering a Vali but now I see that I may be able to get a really good deal on an Asgard 2. What are the differences... and would I be crazy to get the Asgard 2, test both and then sell the one that I don't want? The Asgard 2 is a higher end model, but how much difference is there really between these two... and hooked up to my old Marantz receiver, which likely isn't the most revealing source, would I be likely to hear enough difference to make it worth the bother of swapping one for the other?

I think that I've talked myself out of bidding on this other headphone amp. I have the Vali hooked up currently and it does sound better than what I'm getting through the headphone jack on my amp (it ought to though, right?). I might be able to get a deal on this other amp and it might be an improvement, but I think that at this point, I'm OK leaving that question a mystery. There are many mysteries in our lifetimes and I think that it's often better that we embrace that...
