Just before work got off a posting on CL came up
B&W 803 series 2
B&W center chanel
Klipsch KG 1.2
Paradigm powered sub woofer
Yamaha avr1000
Sony 100 CD/DVD changer

The guy said I called 5 mins right after it was posted. He said right after I called he got 4 more calls from other potential buyers. He didn't have any model numbers posted, just makers names. Enough for me, I called and said I was on my way with cash. & just 300 frog skins for the whole lot. First time I saw B&W towers at this price. Any way I know nothing about them, and here they are. Any feed back welcome.

If $300 for all that, I'd say you made quite the score, yes indeed. Congrats.

I agree, here is an approx. breakdown:

B&W 803.2 - $1,100.00
B&W CC - $150.00
Klipsch KG1.2 - $40.00 - I see tubes in the back, though 90dB, these would make very nice bedroom or office speakers.
Paradigm Sub (Looks like a PDR-10) - $150.00
Yamaha AVR-1000 (aka R-9) - $75.00
Sony 100 DVD Changer - $100.00

So for $300.00 you scored approximately $1,615.00. Basically you paid $0.185 for each dollar.
 
Thanx all, &. Yes the B&W are freeekin awsome! Last week I scored a pair of JBL L112 in need of restore, I got them done Tuesday and was thoroughly impressed. The B&W are the B&W Matrix 803 series 2. The center Chanel is model CC6 S2. & the yammy is model RX-V1000 not that heavy so $75 is about right. The klipsch I've sold before around here @ $100 no problem. In present company with.....

I find I'm checking CL daily now since I scored my KLH 17's & AR 4x's a couple weeks ago for 140.00. Both nearly mint!

UNBELIEVABLE! He wasn't selling these off the back of a truck was he. I can't believe the luck I don't have. I have the B&W Matrix and they are absolutely wonderful speakers in my opinion. Which B&W center channel did you get, The HTMs in good condition sell for more than you paid for all.

And just so you know, OP, those B&W are what we call 'white van speakers.' They are over-priced junk. But I'd like to use the cabinets for a project so please send them to Mr Cratz2, Indianapolis, IN.

The dq-30 are great speakers, as well as the Allison's, but I favor the dq-30 a bit more. As for the sale I bought them from a middle age family guy in the suburbs when I went to get them, he commented that he thinks he priced them a little low, on the count that right after my call, he was getting flooded with calls and email, but he said "a deal is a deal".
