went to the flea today. had my mind set not to buy anything.......

bought 2 receivers and a pair of L-112s for $60 . the speakers have no grills :sigh:
but the drivers seem intact . mid's dustcaps pushed in, a stain on one of
the tweeter domes. woofers' foams are intact , but look old.

are the foams on these of a different mat'l than other jbl woofers?
is the size of these critical that mat foams wouldn't be sufficient?
would a recap be advised?
am i going insane?

Despite acquiring them for chump change, those woofers are mighty good ones. If you're going to refoam, procure the correct kit for 128H from Rick Cobb, looneytune2001 on eBay.... :yes:
