Scott 260-B 260B mic preamp any good?

Way down on my shopping list is a microphone preamp but I see a package deal for another piece that includes a 260-B which has a microphone preamp.

but hey, this is early solid state. If any of you have any positive or negative experience with the microphone section on the Scott 260B, I ask that you please share your opinions.
