Scott 299b trouble

Looks like Sams numbers vs Scott numbers. The Scott schematics I've looked at use VXX for channel 1 and V1XX for channel 2, basically V2 and V102 are doing the same thing, just on opposite channels. Sams numbers just count up from V1.

That voltage chart also looks very Sams, not sure I've seen that on original HH Scott schematics
Tube layout chart on the right matches the sticker on the bottom plate on my 299B.

Voltage chart is SAMs.

Tube layout from the SAMs manual is attached.

I called out the end on pin 7 as access is (or should be) be more straightforward.

sure, just point being if unhooking it at the speaker end doesn't stop it from oscillating, unhooking it from pin 7 on the 6BL8 shouldn't do anything different unless the right thing didn't actually get unhooked from the speaker end.

however it happened, its working now and thats the important part

Figured that. Thats actually why I like to ask people to post the schematic they are using just to avoid any parts numbering inconsistencies. I'm messing with a different flavor of Scott, and the available schematics are Riders and Sams. The actual drawing appears identical, but they use completely different numbering for parts.
