Solid custom made rosewood cabinet with Scott tube equipment. A 222D with all Telefunken tubes. Along with a 370B tuner and Garrard TT. This thing way a ton as it is all solid wood.
Dragged it home last night. The hardest part was getting town a extremely tight staircase. This setup easily weighs 400+ pounds. I should have been paid instead of paying for it...lol.
No speakers. The owner said at one time it was mated with some Fisher Speakers. Who knows?
The photos are from the seller. I will try to get better photos of the cabinet. It is exceptionally well made all solid floating wood raised panels, concealed hinges, louvered door panels on the back side for ventilation. The top two panels slide under the top to reveal the gear the bottom two open for record storage. I would imagine the wood alone sourced today would be well over $1000. The story is this unit was made for one of the first Women Foreign service officers stationed in Thailand. So I am sure this one has seen some traveling. It is in remarkably good condition. The photos posted do not do it justice.
My brother came to help me move it. Not the easiest thing in the world, I owe him big time. I actually fell on the way up my front steps carrying the thing. It landed on my leg which is now nicely bruised. A work out for sure.
Had I seen it, fisticuffs probably would have broken out between you, me & Larry. Actually my wife & Larry's wife might have been involved too, in which case you'd still have the console.:scratch2:

ROFLMAO!!!!! There definately would have been a "ROYAL RUMBLE" in Glen Burnie (NOT TELEVISED!!!) if I brought another console home.
What was that old toast.......Here's to our wives and the women we love.........May they never meet! I think in our cases, change that to "and the consoles we love"
