Ok. . .You need to be more specific than just saying it's the 'balance pott'.

Is it the Left/Right CHANNEL balance pot coming out of the faceplate in the front?

-OR-

Is it one of the two DC Balance pots used for balancing out the current draw between a pair of output tubes??

If it's the CHANNEL balance pot, it's 1MEG.

If it's one of the DC Balance pots, it's 100K.

. . Falcon

Good point, it is indeed the balance from front face plate...... I will look for 1 meg. Thanks for the help guys!!! I noticed that the pics of the potentiometers for sale have the three tabs at the bottom but nothing at the top, mine has a tab at the top + the three tabs at the bottom of the pott that 2 black wires are connected to???

Forget about the extra tap on top. Scott probably took a pot out of the parts bin which had a fixed center tap. Sometimes these are used for bass or treble controls. You don't need it for your application....just 1meg control...make sure you specify a linear control and not a logarythmic one....1/4 inch shaft.
