Trying a different approach now. I’m about to begin a complete rebuild of an LK72B with transformers and new can caps but everything else gone as I’m tired of too many little issues popping up. A scratch here, a pop there, NO SOUND for two days followed by glorious stereo for two weeks. I have the know-how but I would like to use the same/similar wire used originally in the amp. Can anyone point me in the direction of a dealer who would carry the different types and sizes for such an undertaking? 18-22 gauge, 600 volt stranded is awfully large and bulky for some of the applications. Thanks for any help!

Scott used some very tiny solid core wire for their amplifiers, whether kit or factory assembled. Insulation was thin and I know exactly what you mean. I have not found a source of exact wire. And of course, let's not forget the white wires with a color tracer. White-black; white-gray; white-orange; white-red etc. I know of no source for that except some of the amplifiers that I have had to part out.
