scott radio labs 16A metropolitan

Yeah. I bought my Metropolitan from a local guy. It was all there and in good shape. Had it completely recapped and serviced. I would like to acquire one or two more units. The tuners sound great and they are truly works of art and engineering.
Gadget73, what unit would you recommend acquiring for an aspiring collector?
 
Honestly most any of the pre-war stuff is pretty awesome. The cabinets are simply works of art. I have an Allwave 15, but sadly no cabinet for it and its not exactly in 10/10 condition either. Still works pretty well but it does want me to go back at it for some service. I also have the military SLR-12B and a post-war 800B. The military one is cool, and I got it for a very good price but its definitely not eye candy. They were used on troop transport ships in the 40s and it looks like you'd expect.

The Philharmonic series was the ultimate prewar Scott, especially the earlier all AM all-wave. The postwar 800B is the best with FM.
Any E. H. Scott set is interesting.
