It is an EH Scott but this was long past their pinnacle. The 510's and 310's were made until the mid/late fifties. They were all mono. Still a very nice console for what it is and better than most at the time. It must be a later one. I've never seen that cabinet before. It looks like, with a little modification, they could mount a TV in there too. Scott did sell a few combos with TV's but not many.
Now if it was a 16A Metropolian or an 800B, you would really have something. A Met would be worth the asking price. I would suspect the Garrard is a retrofit. Although it's close to the same vintage, the brochure on top is for a Webster Chicago, which would have been a turntable. Rather odd that the turntable is not a Webcor since the brochure is although it could have been an upgrade, at the time of purchase, and they forgot to pull the paperwork.
I always thought these would catch on someday but the prices have been fairly stable over the years. Even an 800B struggles to sell for over $350 unless the chrome is perfect, which is rare.
For those that don't know, EH Scott's were considered the Duesenberg (better than a Rolls Royce) of radios until after WW2. They were as good as it got. Then they got sold and slowly died out in the fifties. End of the line was around 1960, give or take a year or two. Had nothing to do with HH Scott which can get confusing.
