HH Scott. Those date from the late 1970s. Philips tweeter; the other drivers are probably CTS (the MR could be Philips). Never terribly popular, but they should be at least respectable.

I tend to agree. I had 196B's (12" woofer). Did not expect much and ended up being shocked at how good they were. Pricing is "go fish" so I think you could do better. Even so, at $100 I think they are fairly priced and will hold their own against similar era Boston, EPI, etc.

HH Scott speakers were very simplistic but sounded good.
