Scott Stereomaster 260 - anyone have experience?

I picked up a Scott Stereomaster 260 that was dead on both channels. It appears that both speaker out fuses are burned out. It uses a very short fuse called a AGX2(not sure if these fuses are available locally). Curious if anyone is familiar with this amp. It looks very similar to my Scott 222 tube amp. Thanks

The agx fuses are still available.

If the fuses blew the chances are that either the guy was driving it too hard or the outputs shorted.

Make sure the output transistors are OK, and look for burned or open emitter resistors. They were underrated on this machine. Also, the lytic caps on the driver board are notorious for becoming leaky and will drive the output transistors into saturation.

The early SS scott stuff has a nice sound and is fairly reliable after being restored. Hope you can get yours up and running.

I have a couple of those too. They are in queue for restoration. I have the schematic if you need it. I can scan and email it to you,
