I am buying one of my dream receivers from AK'r stevensctt who lives in Scottsdale Az. and have been looking for some help getting it up to the PNW.

As you can see, blhagstrom has kindly offered to help me out by bringing it up from Vegas. Now I just have to get it to him.
Any of you fine AK'rs heading up from the Scottsdale area to Vegas anytime soon??? Do a little gambling, maybe see a show? Maybe take your best girl out for a night out on the town? I hope so.
This looks like it has become a tag team effort but I am confident it can be done.
Let's see. How many AK'rs does it take to get a receiver from Scottsdale to Portland?????:scratch2:

I will be heading up to Vegas in the beginning of May, in case you are still trying to find someone then, I can bring it with me.

Well it will hit 60 today with no clouds and solid sun. Just beautiful up here in the greater PNW.
Speaking of beautiful it would be just that if someone near Scottsdale could grab a receiver and take it up to Vegas for me. That would be super.

Hey there you fine AK'rs you. This is your last chance to help out a Badger. As we speak the receiver is being packed up and if there are no responses to this thread it will be shipped tomorrow.
I would really REALLY appreciate some one bringing this receiver up to Vegas for me. I have an awesome AK'r blhagstrom willing to bring it from Vegas up here to the PNW. I read all the horror stories about shipping stereo stuff and would rather have it hand carried by you guys than expose it to some large impersonal company.
I hope to hear from you soon but if not then I thank you all for reading this thread.

I am really excited to be getting a V7. I have a 6800 already and love the sound she makes but I also hear good things about the V series of receivers. Should be interesting to see if these old ears can hear a difference. I listen to a great jazz station that plays up here, KMHD, and am looking forward to hearing what 1 more gang sounds like.

Well this thread is now mute. The receiver is being shipped straight to my house.
I really want to thank Blaine for offering to bring her up here for me and marantzfan for the offer to bring her to vegas. I was hoping to get it before May or June so I chose to have it shipped but it was cool of you guys to offer your time and assistance. :thmbsp:
