Pulling out the BOTL stuff to purge.

Was on quest at the beginning to go and collect store brand equipment. Have units from the shack, penny’s, and sears. This was before I got ahold of the good stuff.

Anyways this unit had not been on in over a year. Decided get lamps replaced today - I glanced at offset = one channel was over 200mv and the other around 30mV.

As this things has STK-00050s... no offset adjustment. Found some bad caps... changed them and this Sanyo special is now back to under 5mA on both sides. :music:

All LEDs now... it is different but I like the looks. The STK unit sounds pretty good now that it is dialed in - surprising to say the least.

Anyways share your comments on this obscure dude.

Yeah - It was side standing while I was working on it.

Changed tone control caps... those blue Sanyo had pretty much become resistors (high ESR measured on my component tester).

Clean sounding unit now.

BTW-- DC offset is a voltage usually in millivolts not milliamps..
