Hello im very new to this form and hope im in the right place.

I have this sears re- 1803 amp that has been inperfect condition and just on new years kids got to it as we know kids have a way at breaking everything nothing like a pushed in titanium dome tweeter.. but they pluged a aux cable into the headphone out jack and play music though i dident smell any smoke but now the amplifer puts outs highs and mids but ablutly no bass complete bass cut. Truthfully i have hardly an idea if where to start trouble shooting ive checked all the fuses ive checked all the caps nothing smells burnt and everythibg visably looks good. Just need some help thank you in advance.

greetings and welcome;

The 'kids' may have blown the woofers. Disconnect the speakers from the amp. and try another pair. If you don't have a pair to try. take a woofer out disconnect leads (note the leads plus and minus) and put a dmm probes set on ohms and test the terminal leads. if no reading then dead.

All good on the woofers tried two sets of speakers both are experiencing the same things i believe this is the amp as the woofer is still putting out some midrange. in the 2 way system

Edit: it is not the woofers by any means just tested where the bass rolls off and it rolls off at 400 hertz and down.
