Seattle Speakerlab The Auricle Speakers aleart

Nice looking. If they sound anywhere near what other Speakerlab speakers sound like, $550.00 seems like a good buy for these rarities.

You know I'd like these better than the amazings, the ability to add any sub/LF arrangement to it would be fun, and ever changing. Granted the Amazings had a higher crossover point, 200 HZ than most subs do today. AFAIK

Well, here you go: http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/ele/4715718250.html

Relisted with the Hafler Gear, I'm tempted but in the current market I'd say half of his asking is fair to good deal.

beautiful custom speakerlab loudspeakers "The Auricle" twin woofer bass enclosure, 6 feet high x 13" wide x 1 1/2" inches thick. Hafler D 120 amp, Hafler pre amp, tuner, Velodyne subwoofer. works, looks, sounds great.

Got em..

fast facts..

The Hafler power amp is dead on one channel, more than a fuse issue. (friend said he would fix it...:^)

The Iris tuna and preamp are cool and work good. On the back says, made by Rockford and built in the USA!...that is a good sign. You would not believe the remote control unit.....

The Velodyne needs new foam, and the power plate is questionable...(may be a goodwill donate item) I'll have to test. It farted a lot at the guys place....Caps??

Now for the Auricles, they are simply stupendous, "wow" is the word.

More later.
