Hello all,
I was browsing through craigslist and called a guy in nashville about a marantz 2250b receiver. he said he sold it but still has a 2110 tuner for $80 bucks. Anyway, I asked him if he had any other gear to part with and he told me he has these Altec speakers that came out of mercury records studio in nashville. Apparently they were used as studio monitors at mercury. Says they are in a nice wooden cabinet with a gold mesh for the grille. He said it has two 15" altec subs and an altec horn. He then told me they were made by seeburg jukebox. I searched around and found the discotheque model that matches his description. Does anybody have any info about these? How do they sound and what are they worth?
