Seeking suggestions for a Garrard Model 70

I live in the Washington DC area and some years ago I acquired a Garrard Model 70. I have done little more than plug it in, and the platter spins. I will check it out a bit more throughly, but I am thinking to give to give this turntable away (and perhaps some other system components as well). I thought I would begin with a post in AK under "turntables", but any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
