Sennheiser HD 500

I just found a pair of Sennheiser HD 500s I had lying around the house. They seem to sound pretty good. The 10 ft. detachable cord is a nice feature.

Anyone know anything about these?

Should I keep them or should I head over to the cheap headphone thread to find a better modern replacement in the $100 range?

Don't be silly. It's safe to assume that cheap FOTM headphones won't hold a candle to those.
