I have a chance to buy some sentry 50's ( not Altec) for $100 and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them.
I think normally they have CTS drivers and are a three way design.
But we were unable to open the cabinets to look.

Currently I'm using Dynaco A-25's with the newer SEAS tweeters. And updated capacitors.

I was just wondering if it's worth the $100 to experiment with switching the
Sentry speakers and Dynacos to see which I like best.

My initial instinct is to just buy them and have fun listening. But it is a hundred dollars and if the Dynacos obviously sound way better I won't do it.

Any opinions would helpful
