Shall I upgrade from Thorens TD 105 mkII to 145?

I got a possibility to get a Thorens TD 145 for what I consider a bargain (SEK 1800 - approx 230$), it is worth taking it? I am quite happy with my TD 105, I have had it since it was new, and I only have problem with the tone arm lift where the damper is long gone (for lowering the tone arm onto the record). I will replace the pickup on the TD 145, it is equipped with an Ortofone OM5 of unknown status. The tone arm of 145 seems heavier than mine (TD 22), does my Denon DL160 fit well?
I have been lurking around looking but not writing for a while in this forum.

I've owned both of those tables in the past.
I had a Denom DL on my TD-145 of which I preferred over the Thorens TD-105.

Of course you should. Why would we talk you out of buying a turntable? We are all addicts. And quitting is for losers.

Only you know the answer to this if you got the cash why not? If you don't like it sell and get the lift damper fixed on your 105.
