Thank you in advance for your help. I found this forum very helpful with a previous turntable issue and wanted to offer my current situation.
I have a Sherwood S 7250 CP that was working well on Sunday at home. I moved that receiver into my new office at work and when turned on:
1. Lights up
2. No relay click
3. Tuning section does not work (meter does not move)
4. All connections have been checked.
5. Plugged directly into wall socket and into new power strip with out change.
6. Fuse is not blown.
This amp was professionally repaired one year ago having the left channel repaired and a complete clean with deoxit by the top technician in the area. I will take it back to him, but curious if anyone can think of a reason that the receiver would stop with this circumstance. Power at new location? I packed the receiver with packing material in a box to make sure that it was protected during the car ride.
