Hi All. I just picked up a Sherwood S-7250 CP that I’m cleaning up and testing. The first thing I found is the dial cord is broken. I can re-string it but now I’ve discovered that the shaft on the ganged capacitor was completely seized. So I have lubed and worked it loose so it turns freely again. However, it looks like one of the little plastic gears must be broken because it still won’t turn or move the fins. Does anyone have any experience with pulling that apart? I can’t see how to pull the shaft.
Also, does anyone have the service manual for this unit in PDF?
