Shibata stylus for m95ed cartridge?

I have an m95ed cartridge on my turntable, and I would really like a shibata stylus for it. Is this possible, or do I have to replace the cartridge?

Need shibata for cd-4 records. (I have a quadraphonic receiver)

Jico or Vivid Line might have a Shibata for it. I would recommend buying an Audio-Technica AT 440 MLa for CD-4 use though. Because that option is known to work well with CD-4 and known to be successful.

The internals of the cart say you cant use it for quad. Way too much inductance. It doesn't require a shibata stone either. You simply need a cart with low inductance and a frequency response to above 40K

The AT-95 has less inductance than the 440. That's 400mH opposed to 490mH. You can get a bonded aftermarket shibata from LpGear or Turntable Needles for around $130. With the price of those styli, you might want to consider your options. I saw something recently about the 440 being on sale, but I don't know much about it.

I've never used a cart for that application and can't vouch that it works.
