This forum is for finding someone that can assist with grabbing gear not really asking for shipping help which would be in the packing and shipping forum, one up from this one so I’m guessing you just opened the wrong forum. That aside, if you want this thread moved to the packing and shipping, hit the report button in your post and ask a mod to move it. I don’t see that forum having a lot of traffic so you might get more responses in solid state.
But you should state the size of this large amp and weight as most don’t have any idea because they are not common. With a weight of about 110 pounds, this amp needs to be bolted to the bottom of a crate built to hold it. I believe that is how it was transported originally. Serious plywood should be used in case the amp is roughly handled to keep flimsy thin particle board from breaking.
You might want to join the Luxman.io group and ask them how to ship it as some might have this amp from new with the packaging or talk to a high end dealer that sells amps this size how the different companies prepare the units for shipping. The crate can be strapped to a pallet for LTL shipping. Most older amps this size were in wooden boxes.
But if this one works (sorry to see it doesn’t turn on) and you are close by and will help me load it in the vehicle, I’ll come take it off your hands so you don’t have to worry about it. I can have my brother help me make the wooden cabinet for it. This one should see a tach to verify fuses and problems. With the service manual available on line it should be able to be repaired.

Oh, ok I see it is your grandparents amp. Reddit brought info that you priced it (we can’t talk price except in dollar and sense forum so no price numbers) at about a quarter of an opening bid expectation based on the current selling prices of the 120-watt M-2000, 180-watt M-4000 and this the rare and desirable 300-watt per channel M-6000.
If you have to ship it, get professional help packing it properly for the pallet ride to its destination as a Less than Truck Load consignment and insure it properly.
