Shopping for a McIntosh C27 or C29--going rate?

[John in MA]

Been trying to find a Mac C27 or C29 preamp for a while, now I'm getting more serious. What're these things going for these days? eBay activity would seem to indicate around $400-550 depending, but that goes up and down with the weather.
