MC2255 amp two main filter capacitor is originally rated 38,000uf and current measurement of these capacitors are 28,000uf and 29,000 uf which are below 20% tolerance. ESR value is 71 milliohms.
I was told that the capacitance value is not the only factor to replace these capacitors but also ERS value.
Can you advise if the two main filter cap need to be replaced based on the current measurement? Any suggestion on what capacitor (brand, model, values, etc.) to use if need to be replaced? Thanks.
