Show Me Your Sansui!

Is the 990 the only black faced reciever they made? I am digging the non silver. VERY COOL.
No.

Man, that's superhot, Rob, nice! I was just going to post this pic of a G-771 I stole off that site...

Timer

I don't listen to a whole lot of tapes either. I only have one because it was practically brand new in the box and dirt cheap. Unfortunately I found it after I had donated most of my store bought tapes.

How do you like your timer? That's one component I don't have that I don't need but would like to finish off the Sansui rack.

I was looking at the pics again, and saw this older post, I recommend the timers, use them as a power switch and save your gear from wear!
Also makes a great sleep timer, go to bed every night with say 20 minutes of your favorite FM blues tunes playing softly...
A good model is the AT 20, comes in black or silver...:thmbsp:

Hi all,

This is the unit I found last week for $5, and how I found you guys! I haven't cleaned anything yet (including the top of the entertainment cabinet:D). Can anyone tell me about it? Why, for instance is it marked 220V but works on 110V? What is the difference between a G-771 and a G-7700? Where can I get the instructions? Any info would be apprecitated. If this post is in the wrong place feel free to move it.

Thanks,
Michelle :music:

It will run on both via an internal switch. I have the operator's manual and service manual if you're interested.

I'm a very recent (within the last week!) Sansui convert, so I don't have anything really cool or exotic, but below is my new system that I have in my home office. I have been blown away by the great sound of my new 'sui.

It will look much nicer once I finish the custom rack I'm getting ready to build, add my upgraded interconnects and speaker wires, and clean everything up.

System: G-7000 / Klipsch Forte II / Sony CDP-C77ES
