Show us your 'stash'

Sorry if there is already a thread regarding this. I was just rearranging some things in the basement and wondered if mine looks as crowded as everyone else's.

I need more time for these projects...

Told my wife years ago I could collect cars and build garages, or buy some vintage stereo stuff and build a couple shelves. Tends to get out of hand though, but considering what this stuff cost back in the day, and what's available these days for little money, it's a fun hobby. Building shelves is fun too.

Hopefully more folks will post pics of their audio "stash". I love seeing these gear collections.

Here are three of my stacks of stuff. I added all these racks this past summer as I worked on my office, mancave, storage Apt.

Stash implies something hidden. It doesn't look like you did a good job hiding it.

I was thinking that when I clicked on this. I would never give that up.:smoke: But most people know from reading my sig. I really make it no secret. I love to rotate gear in and out. I have seven 5 tier audio racks full. Plus a few others sitting atop big speakers. Too much, yet not enough if you know what I mean. I've made an effort to stop picking up stuff I don't want to keep though.

I have to decline to avoid possible incriminalization.

Oh, you mean GEAR.... Ohhhhh, that's different. Mine is spread around in different places, so impossible to get a picture of it all together like that, but maybe I can post my off-duty gear one at a time. In order from top to bottom, Wharfedale W60D (I have a pair), 1948 RCA/Victor 8R71 tube-powered AM/FM table radio, 1972 Sansui 2000x, and an early '70's Wharfedale W60E (one of a pair)

And then after I pulled the dustcap back out. My other W60 was fine. No pushed-in dustcaps. BTW, that couch was for my heavily-shedding cat. The cat has since passed on, and so has the couch. Under the bag is a Garrard RC88 from the late '50's that I plan to use for mono LP's (It's supposed to be the bomb with mono stuff).

And since I have no pictures of my semi-off-duty Wharfedale W60's, here's a demo video... http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=qxPljs82Xgw

And finally, I picked up a pair of unfinished Wharfedale corner cabs (the huge, sand-filled ones), and I threw one together sans screws just to see what they're gonna' look like. A project in progress: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=cIse4gsv4Kg

I plan on getting the table radio restored, since it's got FM of the same type we use today (60+ years later), and the W60D's are in beautiful shape and just need a recap. The 2000x has been off-duty since I got the Fisher 800C. The W60E's were my first Wharfies. Got them right before I got the Dual 1019 turntable (idler-driven model from the mid '60's), which can be seen in my signature pic.

"SHOW US YER' S**T"... :D

Beautiful collection, my friend. I love the Fisher, Scott, & Heathkit stuff. I would love to spend a day or year or two trying each one of those tube units with my W90's (I recently had my 800C restored using n.o.s. Westinghouse and RCA tubes). Is that an old RCA upright radio off to the right in one of the pictures?

And I love the old tube table radios in the first poster's pictures. I really-dig that old 'art deco' stuff.

Is that a blackface Pioneer VSX-5300 up top underneath the CD-player? I have one of those in my off-duty collection.
