Shure Cartridge Showdown

Ah, 0 Ohm would be a short circuit. No Ohm reading (infinite resistance) would be a broken coil. This is what I measured at my then two years old V15 V MR :( and an Audio Technica AT13EAV.

Sorry. That's what I meant. :) I corrected my post.

My lovely ebay bought IV - one channel - open. Now a nice neckless.

Gut shot:

Fortunately the seller had another body - lettering not as nice - but works wonderfully.

51499420326_bdb5c565a3_c.jpg I have a Shure V15V-MR, V15V/Jico SAS-B, Shure V15 Type III/Jico SAS-B, and a M97xE. Of these the V15 Type III/Jico SAS-B is clearest, most nuanced, and detailed. Its full frequency range is as seamless as it is smooth and the absence of extra crispy highs and muddy lows, make recorded music of vocals, organ and cello sound as lifelike as I have heard from any recorded music media. The only other cart I have that might match the Shure V15 Type III/Jico SAS-B is an AT OC9XML.
