Shure M44-7 styli - generics any good?

@illini I do have a Shure Test LP and should probably pull it out of the LP frame it is in and give it a spin with the M44-7.

The last time I played it, everything checked out...but it's been a while since I double checked.

Good advise, thanks.

Back in 1997, my Grandma's 95-year-old nephew went to the doctor.
Doctor said that he is absolutely in great shape.
Nephew did not believe doctor.
Nephew took out a revolver and, with wife in another room, shot himself.
These people had money and success.
The wife was head of Faberge' perfume.
The moral of this story, Eric, is not to be down.
Appreciate and enjoy life.

Wow!

The TEI needle is pretty decent for not too much coin if you can still find one. Made in Colombia, same curved cantilever, same spring wire and bonded tip. I can't compare it to the Jico because I never heard one but having a few other Jicos I'd say this one comes pretty close for much less money.
