Shure M8D cart

tmccullough

You are who, who you are
I came upon a decrepit looking Shure M8D in a Garrard headshell from an AT6 MKII. I understand the table is garbage, despite looking to be fairly well manufactured. Anyway, is this cart any good for anything? For perspective, I have an M91, M97xE, and a Stanton 500 so a new cart is not something I need. Just want to know if this cart is worth holding on to, or if it should be scrapped with the rest of the table.

Well it's a Shure and an old one ta boot so I'd say ya hold on to it for awhile, maybe you could even flip it on that auction site as I know lots of Japanese like those older Shures......
