Shure PSM95 cartridge

Looking for some info on a Shure PSM95 cartridge I received with a Pioneer Quartz PLL PL- 560 that I just bought through Ebay.
Any Info would be appreciated and if this is a good setup for this Turntable. I always wanted a fully auto I dose off listening a lot.

Same as their SPS-1 . Should have their brown N11 stylus- a 0.2 x 0.7 mil elliptical. Recommended tracking force is 0.75 to 1.5 grams. You can use any SPS series stylus- the orange N12 also is a 0.2 x 0.7 mil with same tracking force spec. and the upgrade would be the N15 Hyperelliptical.

No stylus came with the cartridge so don't know the color. I guess it is a pretty obsolete cartridge.. so you saying the best up grade would be the N15.

Yes, the Hyperelliptical N15 is the best possible stylus for that body. Although the 0.2 x 0.7 mil elliptical is no slouch either.

I have the green grip HE in mine. dandy cart.

You can go the other way and plug in an N75ED/EJ/HE or an inexpensive aftermarket version of same. Let us know what your budget is for this project.

true that, the sps-5 is butt ugly......plays well. A slight tick down from the m97HE, maybe simply due to no brush
