Shure Styli query

Just saw available at auction a Shure N44-7 stylus available as well as an N75-6. Both NOS, allegedly. With the understanding both will fit an M75 body, is there a a functional difference between the two in playback? Might one be used for certain records the other wouldn't? Would there be much sonic difference?
If one had the option of one over the other is there a reason to choose?

A Shure N44 series stylus will only fit an eazy-clip type M75 cart, not one with the plastic shroud. And there will be a diference in the stylus angle, in comparison with an N75 stylus.

Hugo65 is on it. If you look closely at the M44 and M75 bodies, you'll notice one has a perfectly flat bottom and one is slightly beveled (if that's the word I want) at the cantilever end. You'll also notice that Shure curved the cantilever of the M44 downward to reach the record, where the M75 simply points its straight cantilever down at a slant, accomplishing the same thing without having to curve anything. Sonically-technically, and leaving subjective response aside, the M75 is more advanced, being of course newer. Electrically and magnetically they're virtually the same. Hope that answers the question.

You both provided excellent responses, I was unaware of the cantilever differences. I guess I would have to decide which body I preferred to get the new stylus for. Apparently, the edge would go to the M75 as you say. Just asking, any reason to prefer the M44-7?
