As I could not rename my other post. I just posted this instead as the old header made no sense to what these speakers are. Anyways I decided to open up these shurlyn speakers as curiosity got the best of me. What little the Internet said suggested that these were loaded with KEF drivers and Dale something (forgot name). Well turns out there loaded with poly Dax / audax drivers. That's why they sounded so damn good. Also I took a few shots of the crossover. So far this is a really good build for a Canadian company that just didn't make it and faded away.
Will post a review later in the week. Besides that the cabinets are done and trashed they may be a slightly weak tweeter. It's just enough of a difference that you question if it's there or not. Very very minor. However it could be crossover related as these speakers are about 30 years old.
