Simple Altec 887 capri xover cap replacement

I have a pair of altec 887 capri's and I found one of the phenolic tweeters was open, I figured while ordering the2 new Replacement tweeters from PE i would also replace the 6.0 uf 50v caps as well.
So If I choose a 5.6 uf 400v Aydyn metalized poly cap, and a .47uf dayton 400v bypass cap will that be close enough to the orig 6.0uf? Or Am I missing the point of the bypass cap. and doing it wrong.
I like the speakers as they are with a slight improvement a +
the replacement tweeters have a bigger magnet, but they are a direct fit

I will be using my flea powered 1.5 watt 45 triode amps if that matters.

In my mind a bypass cap circumvents part of a circuit(EQ, attenuation, etc.) whereas in this case it's simply summing to the desired value of a single component in the circuit.

I question(with no answer) what happens with regard to ESR when we parallel different caps. More specifically, if the caps being paralleled have very differing ESR values, what effect does that have?

I'd parallel four 1.5's. But, that's me, and the most expensive way to do it.

I'm Glad I didn't order the 2 different set of caps last night. This is after 40 yrs of swapping speakers in different cabs, with different xovers
my 1st attempt at Re-cappiing one. Figured start on this simple Altec xover before attempting the crazy intricate 4 way xovers in My JBL4343's

I'm not saying that mine is the right or better way, just the route i'd go to get the desired value with what is the least compromise in my mind.

It'd be interesting to give both ways a try and learn if there's any audible or otherwise meaningful difference besides a good night's sleep.
