So, I have a great pair of Tannoy Reveal 502's as my studio monitors. I was thinking about my TX 8260 plus AudioSource AMP 100 and Infinities, and I really don't need them anymore/ This nifty passive volume control with RCA inputs could replace all that, and throw a Pro-ject phono pre into the mix and I could easily use the Tannoy's as my main speakers. I enjoy their sound. Being studio monitors they're more analytical than the Infinities. But it's a sound I'm used to and don't mind.
I recently got a Focusrite 8i6 interface for the Pro end of the system. I'm getting back into music production. Anyways, what do folks think? I'm probably going to give the TX-8260 plus the AMP 100 to my brother, along with my old trusty Celestion F15s. I'm planning to sell the Infinity R253s.
Here's a picture of the monitors and my new interface.
