Why do nearly all of the tube data sheets for KT88 only give examples for push pull?

Dig around here as the Kegger KT88 SEUL is a bit of a legend....

Tubelab sold SE KT-88 PCB's that could alao be configured to use EL-34's, etc. I'm not sure he is making any new boards though.

Looking through Frank Philipse site, only one of five examples shows an se. The search page link first several data sheets only show push pull. Like the Svetlana.

I know there are plenty of schematics out there of SE KT88s, just wonderful ng why many of the data sheets only show push pull. Seems weird to me. Nearly every data sheet I have looked at since I became interested in tubes, recently, show both examples.

Probably because its not how they would have been typically used when they were current.

The 6550 datasheet does have single ended class A operation, should be about the same as a KT88.
Exactly this. They were big power tubes, and push-pull operation produces more power, which is why people wanted them in the first place.
