In all the hoopla over the passing of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, another person instrumental in early rock has passed.

Sky Saxon passed on June 25th. He was the leader of the garage band called the Seeds, best known for their hit, "Pushin Too Hard".

Thanks for the heads up. I will pull my copy of the Seeds album out of the stack and give it a spin in memory of Sky.
