OK, this popped up on my feed and it took me a few minutes to figure it out.
It's two AI identities(?) hosting a podcast talking about a guy (human) who is creating an AI avatar of himself that will "carry on his legacy".

I assume it is heavily edited, but I'm not sure about that. I can say for sure if this is representative of an AI thought process, then I'm becoming worried. Quite worried that there's some **** coming down the pipeline, something we're not ready for.
Am I being dramatic? Too many sci-fi books when I was a kid?
This is only 10 minutes long, see what ya think.

Seems to be just another take on rent-seeking (earning money passively). I'm sure this will become very common. Such things as sex-robot brothels are beginning to operate. AI girlfriends and boyfriends are a big business already.

It's just so bizarre to me - two AI "people" discussing a human creating an AI avatar of himself. The whole concept and where it could go breaks my brain.

I thought this was pretty scary. There is no existing source to generate these answers online. So this is not a cut and paste job from the AI. The AI had to "see" or "imagine" the colors together to draw a conclusion. Recognizing colors and being able to make matches with no previous reference are two different levels of intelligence. This is from one of my model building groups. (my other hobby)

My take: taking oneself too seriously while having fun BSing and messing with people's minds.

I'm don't understand - are you saying this isn't an AI conversation?
Who is "one's self"?

No, but BR is probably my favorite Sci-Fi movie.

Rachael: "You know that Voight-Kampff test of yours ... did you ever take that test yourself?"

Roy Batty: "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die."

Neither the human nor the AI realizes there's no such thing as a "Dodge Duster"?
