I've got 2 perfectly working MKII's, one I bought 6 months old from the OO in Germany, the other not a few years ago, very near MIB from the OO for $300 less than that sale. Both needed the lift motor drive belt replaced and nothing else. Somebody was jonesin bad for that thing.

I'm thinking more than one somebody. Been kinda watching these things go lately and it's like there is a run on these suckers. Very popular these days. Nice job of advertising it on the sellers part I'll bet they were a little surprised.

Some think the 1600/1700/1800 MK2's sound better than the 1200 MK2's. I don't know if they do or not but my 1700 MK2 isn't going anywhere. But if someone wants to give me $500 I might sell mine.

It was so fabulous the original owner left it in the box? Some of these prices are just nuts. For $500 you can easily buy a new(er) better sounding table with a rather nice cart and a warranty too. Some bidders never cease to amaze me.
